While ENHYPEN is gaining popularity with the title track of their 2nd mini-album ‘Drunk-Dazed’, they will continue to work on the song ‘FEVER’.
At midnight on the 17th, ENHYPEN made a surprise release of the music video trailer for “FEVER” from their mini album “BORDER: CARNIVAL” through their official YouTube channel.
In the video, the members are leaning against each other in a pool of cold water, staring at the camera with expressions as if they are waiting for someone. The technique of using blue and red lighting to create a moment of intersection between warmth and cold air is eye-catching. At the end of the video, the seven boys appear in the heat of the moment, piquing our interest in the story of the music video.
FEVER” is a modern pop-R&B song with sensual lyrics and a simple song structure that blends together to create a unique impression. The song is about a boy who is waiting to find someone who understands him, and he expresses this by using the metaphor of a vampire with a lower body temperature than humans.
The song was as popular as the title track, “Drunk-Dazed,” as it ranked 18th on the U.S. Billboard World Digital Song Sales list as of May 8.
On May 20, ENHYPEN will release the full-length music video for “FEVER” and will appear on a music program.
ENHYPEN has been working vigorously on their 2nd mini album “BORDER: CARNIVAL” which was released on the 26th of last month. The new album ranked No. 1 on the HANTEO and GAON charts for the month of April, and also No. 1 on the Japan Oricon monthly album ranking for April. It was also ranked #9 on the US Billboard “World Albums” and #15 on the “Heatseekers Albums” as of May 8.
Backed by their popularity around the world, ENHYPEN will release their debut album “Border: Transient” in Japan on July 6, and make a full-fledged foray overseas.
